The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition
This article was previously published under Q267516 SYMPTOMS
When you upgrade to Microsoft Windows Millennium (Me) on a Fujitsu LifeBook E370 portable computer, and then the computer is left idle at the logon prompt, the computer may enter hibernation mode and you may not be able to resume.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when the basic input/output system (BIOS) incorrectly responds to Windows Me hibernation.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior when it has occurred, turn the computer off and then on again. To prevent this behavior, log on to the computer before it goes idle.
