Balls in JezzBall Hesitate After a Sound Is Played Through a USB Device (267438)

SYMPTOMS

When you play Microsoft JezzBall, the motion of the balls may hesitate.

CAUSE

This problem can occur immediately after a sound is played through a Universal Serial Bus (USB) device that is enabled as the preferred playback device.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows Millennium Edition.

MORE INFORMATION

The balls hesitate for a moment after a sound is played. This problem does not occur if the sound is played through a sound card, or if the sounds in JezzBall are turned off. Note that when this problem occurs, JezzBall does not stop responding (hang), and you do not receive any error messages.
