Header Text Not Displayed Properly in the Planning Center of Quicken 2000 Deluxe 9.0 (267418)

SYMPTOMS

When you run Intuit Quicken 2000 Deluxe version 9.0 and view the items listed in the Planning Center, the header text may not be displayed properly on the upper left side of the page. For example, if you click the Planning menu, click Planning Center, and then click any of the following links:

  • Retirement Planner
  • College Planner
  • Special Purchase Planner
  • Planning Resources
  • Planning Summary
the text "GIF89a", with a backward capital E exponent on the letter "a", may be displayed in the upper left portion of the dialog box.

CAUSE

This behavior can be caused by Microsoft Internet Explorer's interpretation of the frameset HTML code.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
