You Can Still View Camera Properties After USB or DV Camera Drivers Are Disabled (267357)

When you disable your Universal Serial Bus (USB) or digital video (DV) camera in Device Manager, the icon for your USB or DV camera may still appear normally in the Scanners and Cameras folder. If you double-click the camera icon in this folder, you can view the properties of the camera. However, if you double-click the camera icon in My Computer, you may receive a message that the camera cannot initialize or that it cannot continue.
