"Network Neighborhood Icon" Reference in Desktop Themes Tool in Control Panel (267350)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Desktop Themes tool in Control Panel, you may see references to the Network Neighborhood icon instead of the My Network Places icon. Also, the name for the icon (.ico) file contains the reference to "Network Neighborhood", for example, "Network Neighborhood.ico".

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

Note that this problem does not affect the functionality of the Desktop Themes tool. Desktop Themes were originally introduced in Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95, and the icon description has not been changed for Windows Millennium Edition (Me).
