OL98: Simple MAPI Does Not Work with Outlook 98 E-mail Security Update on Windows 95 (267319)

Simple Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) functions, such as the Send To Mail Recipient option, the Send To Routing Recipient option, and any mail merges that use the Outlook Address Book, may not work if the following conditions exist:
- You have installed the Microsoft Outlook 98 E-mail Security Update, released June 2000.
-and-
- You are using Outlook 98 on a Microsoft Windows 95-based computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem:
- Upgrade from Outlook 98 to Outlook 2000.
-or-
- Upgrade from Windows 95 to Microsoft Windows 98 or later.
