Cannot Restart Magnifier Tool in the Accessibility Wizard (267153)

SYMPTOMS

When you start the Magnifier tool in the Accessibility wizard, if you click Back, and then click Next, the Magnifier tool may not restart.

RESOLUTION

To force the Magnifier tool to start after you have closed it, follow these steps:
  1. Click Back to go back to the screen where you selected the Magnifier option.
  2. Click to select one of the other two options that are listed in the dialog box, and then click Next.
  3. Click Back to return to the Magnifier window.
  4. Click to select the largest text setting.
  5. Click Next and the Magnifier tool starts as expected.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
