After You Drag Folder into a Compressed Folder, the Original Folder Still Remains on the Desktop (267007)

SYMPTOMS

When you move a folder by dragging it to a compressed folder on the desktop, the folder does move to the compressed folder but the original folder may remain on the desktop.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, right-click the folder, click Cut, double-click the compressed folder to open it, and then click Paste on the Edit menu.
