STI Driver for Kodak DC25 Camera Is Removed When You Upgrade to Windows Me (266988)

SYMPTOMS

When you are running a Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition-based computer that has a Still Image Architecture (STI) in-box driver installed for a Kodak DC25 camera, and then you upgrade to Windows Millennium Edition (Me), the STI driver is deleted.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because the Kodak DC25 camera is not supported as an in-box device in Windows Me.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, install the driver for the Kodak DC25 camera from the vendor compact disc. For assistance with installing the driver, contact the camera manufacturer.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
