SYMPTOMS

When you play Red Storm Entertainment's game Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six on a computer running Windows Millennium Edition with a Voodoo3 video adapter installed, and you have set the hardware rendering in Rainbow Six to 1024 x 768, the desktop is not restored properly when you quit the game.

Only the upper left corner of the desktop appears, and the rest of the desktop is black. However, the mouse pointer can move over the whole screen and will react to various elements of the desktop on the black portions of the screen.
