SYMPTOMS

When you install Windows Millennium Edition (Me) on a computer that has a Hewlett-Packard 720C printer attached to a parallel port, the printer may not be successfully installed. Each time you restart the computer, you may be prompted to install the driver for this printer.

CAUSE

Windows Me does not provide a driver for the HP 720C printer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Hewlett-Packard to obtain a driver for the 720C printer.
