SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade your Windows 98-based computer to Windows 98 Second Edition, your Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) multilink settings for MSN, The Microsoft Network, may not be retained. Specifically, your second ISDN channel may no longer be selected as your secondary device when you view the Multilink tab.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, configure your MSN, The Microsoft Network, connection to use your second ISDN channel.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
