OFF97: German Outlook Shortcuts on Menus Are Incorrect After You Install Office 97 SR-2 (266640)

SYMPTOMS

After you install Microsoft Office 97 SR-2, some of the shortcuts in German Outlook 97 do not work.

Online Help and the menus display different shortcuts. For example, New Appointment displays this shortcut on the menu: CTRL+SHIFT+T, which was the Outlook 97 German shortcut [(T)ermin].
The shortcut in Help is CTRL+SHIFT+A, [English (A)ppointment].

The program accepts CTRL+SHIFT+A.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use the shortcuts shown in the online Help.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
