Installation of X:Drive Version 2.0 Prior to Windows Millennium Edition Upgrade Produces Error Messages (266268)

During the last phase of the Windows Millennium Edition (Me) Setup, called "Updating System Settings," with approximately 7 to 10 minutes remaining, you may receive the following error:
AN ERROR HAS OCCURED:

After you receive the above error message, and you press ENTER, you may receive the following series of error messages:
AN ERROR HAS OCCURED:
ERROR 0D:236F:014F6BD7
AN ERROR HAS OCCURED:
ERROR 0D:0246:014747FB
AN ERROR HAS OCCURED:
ERROR 0D:0A4E:01472737
After this, you return to Setup, and it continues normally.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you install X:Drive version 2.0 prior to upgrading to Windows Me.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, uninstall X:Drive version 2.0 using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. After completion of the Windows Me Setup, the upgrade to X:Drive version 2.1 can be found at:

X:Drive is a virtual hard drive that allows you to store information, on X:Drives Web server and access it through a Web site. Accessing the virtual drive through your Internet browser causes no known problems. X:Drive's optional client-side software can be downloaded, enabling you to access the drive within the Windows shell without opening the browser. It is version 2.0 of the client-side software that conflicts with the Windows Me Setup.
