IntelliMouse: Mouse Is Not Recognized in Standby Mode (266211)

When you use the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer, on a Sony computer, you may experience any of the following symptoms:
- When you are using the mouse, the computer may enter Standby mode.
- When the computer is in Standby mode and you move the mouse, the computer may not resume from Standby mode.
- After you resume the computer from Standby mode, the mouse may not function properly.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you are running Sony's Power Panel software.
RESOLUTION
To attempt to resolve this issue, disable Sony's Power Panel software. For information about how to disable the Power Panel software, consult your computer documentation or contact Sony.
