SYMPTOMS

Veritas Backup Exec 8.0 may cause a "Stop 0x0000000A" error message or sporadic reboots. The stop code may resemble the following example:
STOP 0x0000000a (0x00000000 0x000000ff 0x00000001 0x8040063d)

CAUSE

This behavior is caused by the Otman5.sys driver. The Otman5.sys driver passes a corrupted list entry. For additional information about the Otman5.sys driver, please contact Veritas.
