After you rename a Web folder in My Network Places, the new name may not be displayed when you attempt to save a document.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you attempt to save a file to a Web folder in Microsoft Word 2000, Microsoft Excel 2000, or Microsoft PowerPoint 2000.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, rename the Web folder in the Save As dialog box or re-create the Web folder with the Add Network Place wizard.

When you rename a Web folder in My Network Places, the Save As dialog box that is used by Word, Excel, and PowerPoint does not process the name change properly. If you rename a Web folder in the Save As dialog box, the change is made properly in My Network Places.
