SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), if you use the ALT+hotkey combinations (such as ALT+W, ALT+G, ALT+E, ALT+H, or ALT+X) to access the menu items in the Windows Me tours, the intended action does not occur.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, use the SHIFT+hotkey combination (such as SHIFT+W, SHIFT+G, SHIFT+E, SHIFT+H, or SHIFT+X) to access the menu items in the tours.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition.
