Taskbar Indicator for StickyKeys Does Not Show Key Status (266040)

SYMPTOMS

When you enable the StickyKeys accessibility feature with the key status indicator on the taskbar, the status indicators may not work.

CAUSE

The mechanism to get the key status from Windows and post it to the taskbar does not work in the retail release of Windows 2000.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
