This article was previously published under Q266004 SYMPTOMS
When you insert a spreadsheet into a Microsoft Works Word Processor
document, and you then attempt to modify the spreadsheet by inserting a
row or column, the modifications to the spreadsheet disappear when you
click outside the spreadsheet.
When you double-click the spreadsheet, the row or column that you inserted
reappears.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, follow these steps:
- Double-click the spreadsheet object to activate it.
- Select any cell in the inserted row or column.
- Press the SPACEBAR.
- Click outside the spreadsheet object to deactivate it.
Note that the spreadsheet has been updated to reflect the row or column that you inserted.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
