SUMMARY

This article describes how you can expand a Microsoft Works Portfolio document to completely fill the screen.

MORE INFORMATION

Works Portfolio has three normal viewing modes:
  • Compact view displays the document as an icon on top of any other windows, but without any visible contents.
  • Docked view displays a thumbnail image of the document's contents in an easily visible size, but can fill only 50 percent of the screen, and you may have to scroll through the document to see all of the contents.
  • Gallery view displays an icon-sized image of the document's contents and a full-sized view of the selected object; Gallery view can be maximized to full screen.
You may find it easier to select the object that you want by viewing the Works Portfolio document's contents in Docked view and expanding the view to full screen.

To expand the Docked view to full screen, follow these steps:

NOTE: This example assumes that you start Works Portfolio in Compact view.
  1. Click the Works Portfolio document to view the contents.
  2. Click the Keep collection open (pushpin) icon.
  3. Use your pointing device to drag the borders of the Works Portfolio collection window until the window is large enough to contain what you want to view. When you click the Works Portfolio icon, the document's contents now expand to the size that you want.
