Works: Date and Time Are Not Copied from Database to Spreadsheet (265908)

When you create a Microsoft Works Database file that contains date and time values, and then try to copy and paste this data to a Works Spreadsheet file, the date and time values may not appear in the Works Spreadsheet file.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the date and time are created with the following formula:
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, copy data with date and time values from Works Database to Works Spreadsheet cell by cell, and then change the cell formatting as required. To do so, follow these steps:
- In Works Database, select Row 1, Field 2.
- On the Edit menu, click Copy.
- Switch to Works Spreadsheet.
- Select cell B1.
- On the Edit menu, click Paste.
- Switch to Works Database.
- Select Row 1, Field 3.
- On the Edit menu, click Copy.
- Switch to Works Spreadsheet.
- Select cell C1.
- On the Edit menu, click Paste.
A time serial number appears. - On the Format menu, click Number.
- On the Number tab, click Time, and then click OK.
