SYMPTOMS

After you install the Toshiba Utilities for Windows 98 program on your Toshiba Tecra 780CDM computer that is running Windows Millennium Edition (Me), the setting for LCD brightness is the only additional setting that is added to the Power Options tool in Control Panel.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Toshiba to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue, or a version of the Toshiba Utilities that is designed to work with Windows Me.

The Toshiba Utilities for Windows 98 program installs an additional tab for the Power Options tool in Control Panel. You can use the Toshiba Utilities for Windows 98 program on a Microsoft Windows 98-based computer to configure the following settings:
