SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to migrate Novell GroupWise to Microsoft Exchange using the Exchange Migration Wizard, you may receive the following error messages:
GW5mig
The system cannot find the file specified

-and-

Please check the user id and password. If the user id and password are both correct log on to the GroupWise client and shut down.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 3 (SP3) on the computer running the Migration Wizard.
