pointing devices listed in the "Applies to" section to a game action that repeats as long as you hold the button down, such
as walking or running, the game action may be interrupted when you press
another button on the pointing device.RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, assign the wheel button to use a key
on the keyboard that is not assigned to a game action or to a Microsoft Windows
command. Note You must install the Microsoft IntelliPoint software before you
follow the steps for your appropriate operating system. Microsoft Windows XP- Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Mouse.
- On the Wheel tab, configure the Wheel Button box to use a key on the keyboard that is not assigned to a game
action or to a Windows command.
- Click OK.
- Start the game that you are trying to play, and then
configure the keyboard and the pointing device assignments for the
game.
- Assign the actions for which you want to use the wheel
button to the key on the keyboard that you assigned to the button in step
3.
