FP2000: Thumbnail Images Do Not Appear in FrontPage Web (265165)

SYMPTOMS

After you create a thumbnail image for a Microsoft FrontPage 2000 web, the thumbnail image does not appear in the web.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the web is a disk-based web that is several layers deep from the root; for example:

C:\My Documents\CorpWebs\DivWebs\SectionWebs\GroupWebs\MyWeb

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reduce the length of the path to your web; for example:

C:\My Documents\MyWeb

TIP: You can move a disk-based web with Microsoft Windows Explorer as if it is an ordinary folder.
