Incorrect Pointer Scheme Listed for Mouse Properties When You Use the Travel Theme (264782)

When you view Mouse Properties in your Windows Millennium-based computer, the current pointer scheme may be listed as Windows Inverted (extra large), even though the pointers are not the Windows Inverted (extra large) pointers.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you select the Travel (high color) desktop theme in the Desktop Themes tool.

When you select a desktop theme in the Desktop Themes tool, the pointer scheme is normally changed to None in the Mouse Properties dialog box. For the Travel (high color) theme, the pointer scheme is incorrectly set to Windows Inverted (extra large), instead of None. However, the pointers are set to the correct pointers for the Travel (high color) theme.
