FP2000: Confirmation Fields Aren't Displayed When You Use Custom Confirmation Page with Send to Database (264762)

SYMPTOMS

When you use a custom confirmation page with the Send to Database component, the confirmation fields are not displayed.

CAUSE

The confirmation page has an .htm file extension.

RESOLUTION

In order for the confirmation fields to be displayed, the following must be true:
  • Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions Service Release 1.1 must be installed on the server.

    -and-
  • The custom confirmation page must have an extension of .asp.

Obtain FrontPage Server Extensions Service Release 1.1

To obtain FrontPage Server Extensions Service Release 1.1, please visit the following location on the Microsoft Web site:

Change to an .asp Extension

To change the extension of your custom confirmation page, follow these steps:
  1. Click Folders view on the Views panel.
  2. Right-click your confirmation page, and then click Rename.
  3. Rename the page to have an .asp extension rather than an .htm or .html extension. Press ENTER.
