After you stop an index population (by using Exchange System Manager), the Content Indexing service may incorrectly log several event messages in the Event Viewer application event log:

MORE INFORMATION

Although the Content Indexing service incorrectly reports that the indexer is starting, the indexer is actually stopping. You can safely ignore this event message.
