Cannot Index Words Included in a Table (264592)

SYMPTOMS

Words that are contained in a Microsoft Word document may not be searchable.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when a Microsoft Word document contains words located at the beginning of the cells in a table. The words in this location are not indexed.

RESOLUTION

Windows NT 4.0

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.
