Power Meter Properties May Not Show the Power Status (264512)

SYMPTOMS

When you view the properties for the power settings, the Power Meter properties may not include any details for the power status.

In some localized versions (such as Arabic and Hebrew) of Windows 2000, the power status is missing from the Power Meter properties.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a Windows 2000 localization error.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 1.
