SUMMARY

When your time zone is set to Mexico City and you view appointments in the Microsoft Outlook Calendar, appointment times may be 2 hours off during daylight time.

Earlier versions of Microsoft Windows and Windows NT did not include the option to adjust the clock for daylight saving changes in the Mexico City time zone.

Windows 2000 and Windows 98 Second Edition do have the option to adjust the clock for daylight saving changes for Mexico City.

MORE INFORMATION

To adjust the time zone setting and check for daylight saving changes, follow these steps:
  1. On the taskbar, click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Date/Time, and then click the Time Zone tab.
  3. Click the time zone you want from the list.
NOTE: If you click Mexico City, the Daylight Savings Time check box is unavailable.
