Visio2000: Rotation Command Does Not Work on Window Shapes (264448)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to rotate a window, the window may not move.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Visio 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.  This problem was corrected in Microsoft Visio 2000 SR-1.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior

  1. Start Visio.
  2. Open the Office Layout Stencil.
  3. Drag a window onto the page.
  4. On the Standard toolbar, click Rotation Tool.
  5. Try to rotate the window by dragging the green circle.

    Note that the window does not move.
