This article was previously published under Q264367

SUMMARY

In Exchange 2000, you can use Exchange System Manager to propagate property settings from a folder to all of its subfolders. When you right-click a folder, click All Tasks, and then click Propagate Settings, you can specify the properties that you want propagated to the subfolders.

However, it is not possible to propagate delivery restrictions or delivery options. You must set delivery restrictions or delivery options on each subfolder by selecting it, opening its properties, and then clicking the Exchange General tab.
