SYMPTOMS

When you use Outlook with the Net Folders Add-in, you may receive the following error message when you start Outlook:
Outlook caused an Invalid Page Fault in module Msvcrt.dll

CAUSE

Your Net Folders Add-in may be damaged.

RESOLUTION

Locate and run the Nfclean.exe utility.
  1. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
  2. In the Named box, type nfclean.exe.
  3. Make sure that your hard disk is selected in the Look in box, click to select the Include Subfolders check box, and then click Find Now.
  4. Double-click the Nfclean.exe file to run the utility.
  5. Start Outlook.
