Error Message: Hearts Has Caused an Error in Ddeml.dll (264100)

When you quit Microsoft Classic Hearts, you may receive the following error message:
An error has occurred in your program. To keep working anyway, click Ignore and save your work in a new file. To quit this program, click Close. You will lose information you entered since your last save.
If you click Close, you receive the following error message:
Hearts has caused an error in Ddeml.dll.
Hearts will now close.
If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you attempt to connect to another game of Classic Hearts but you quit Classic Hearts before the connection is established.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, wait until Classic Hearts locates a dealer or the search for a dealer times out.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
