SYMPTOMS

When you open a shortcut to a folder that has a custom background image, the background image may not be displayed.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, press the F5 key, or click Refresh on the View menu to refresh the folder view.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
