SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), the Hibernate and Standby features are reported as "enabled" in the System Configuration utility on every system. This behavior occurs even if the features are disabled and even if the system does not support Hibernate or Standby.

STATUS

This behavior does not affect system functionality.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition.
