Toshiba Tecra 8000 Hangs When It Resumes From Standby Mode (263773)

SYMPTOMS

After you install Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me) on a Toshiba Tecra 8000, when you open the computer when it is docked in the Desk Station V Plus docking station, the computer may stop responding (hang) when it resumes from Standby mode (S1 power state).

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you close the computer's lid to enable Standby mode.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, do not enable Standby mode while docked in the Desk Station V Plus docking station.
