This article describes how to manually uninstall Internet Explorer version 5.5 from a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98. This may be useful if the Uninstall Internet Explorer and all its components entry in the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel is unavailable.
INPORTANT: You cannot use the procedure in this article to manually uninstall Internet Explorer 5.5 from a computer that is running Windows Millennium Edition (Me) because Internet Explorer 5.5 cannot be removed from Windows Me.
