XCCC: The "Extend Time" Link Is Missing from the Conference Window (263255)

To allow the organizer of a conference the ability to extend a conference, the Administrator must use the following steps:

1. On the toolbar click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
2. Navigate to OrgName(Exchange)\Administrative Groups\Administrative Group that the Conferencing server belongs to\Conferencing.
3. If nothing is listed under the Conferencing object, right-click the Conferencing object, and click Manage. Click the appropriate site from the list, and then click OK.
4. Right-click the SiteName Conferencing Service object, and then click Properties.
5. On the Conference Settings tab, click to select the Change conference end time check box, under Permit the following organizer actions during a conference.
6. Click Apply, and then click OK.

To specify the maximum number of minutes to which a conference can be extended, use the following steps:

1. On the toolbar click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
2. Navigate to OrgName(Exchange)\Administrative Groups\Administrative Group that the Conferencing server belongs to\Conferencing.
3. If nothing is listed under the Conferencing object, right-click the Conferencing object, and click Manage. Click the appropriate site from the list, and then click OK.
4. Expand the SiteName Conferencing Service object.
5. Right-click Video Conferencing Provider, and then click Properties.
6. Set the Maximum conference extension time in minutes box to the desired number of minutes. The default setting is 60 minutes, and the setting applies to all video conferences hosted on the conferencing site.
