Visio2000: Error 1324: The Folder Path Contains an Invalid Character (263150)

When you attempt to install Visio 2000 on a computer that is running
one of the following operating systems
- Microsoft Windows 95
- Microsoft Windows 98
- Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
you may receive the following error message:
Error 1324: The folder path folder name contains
an invalid character.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the computer is using a real mode (16-bit)
driver to access the CD-ROM drive, or if the CD-ROM drive is operating
in MS-DOS Compatibility mode.
NOTE: Real mode CD-ROM drivers do not support long file names.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, contact your hardware manufacturer to inquire about
how to obtain a protected mode (32-bit) driver for your CD-ROM drive.
