You cannot add or edit records when you link a replicated Access 97 database in Access 2002 (263101)

SYMPTOMS
In Access 2002, you can link a replicated Access 97 database and view the data. If you try to add or edit a record, however, you receive the following error message:
Operation not supported on replicable databases that have not been converted to the current version.
RESOLUTION
To add or edit records, you must convert the replica set to the current version.

the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topics
returned.
