Error Message: CONF Caused a Divide Error in Module Msvfw32.dll (263031)

When you start Microsoft NetMeeting in Windows 98, you may receive the following error message:
CONF caused a divide error in module MSVFW32.DLL
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you are using a version of the Matrox Millennium driver that is earlier than version 4.12.0.13.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, upgrade the Matrox Millennium driver to version 4.12.0.13 or later.
WORKAROUND
You may be able to work around this issue by lowering the graphics hardware acceleration level. To reduce the graphics hardware acceleration setting, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click System.
- On the Performance tab, click Graphics.
- Move the Hardware Acceleration slider until it is one notch to the right of None (the basic acceleration setting).
- Click OK, and then click Close.
- When you are prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.
