SYMPTOMS

When you start Windows or start the Office Shortcut Bar (OSB), you may receive an error message similar to the following:
Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar: Msoffice.exe - Unable To Locate DLL

The dynamic link library snmpapi.dll could not be found in the specified path D:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\1033; D:\WINNT\System32; D:\WINNT\system; D:\WINNT; D:\WINNT\system32; D:\WINNT

CAUSE

This problem occurs if your installation of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 is not correctly configured.

RESOLUTION
