The Home Networking Wizard Setup disk runs on any version of Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, or Windows Millennium Edition (Me), provided that a network card is installed correctly in the computer.
When a client disk is created from the Home Networking Wizard, the following files are copied to a formatted 1.4 MB floppy disk: - Setup.exe: An executable file.
- Icsapi32.dll: An application programming interface (API) set for ICS, including IsICSAvailable function call that represents the specific API responsible for determining whether a functioning ICS server is available.
- Icsrmt.dll: Provides remote ICS APIs.
- Nconn16.dll: Calls 16-bit code such as SetupX to assist installing Networking components.
- Nconn32.dll: provides for the network adapter detection.
