SUMMARY

When you forward a message from your Inbox to another user, the message may be missing from your Sent Items folder.

If you want e-mail messages to be saved in your Sent Items folder, click to select the Save Forwarded Messages check box.

Outlook 2000 and Outlook 98

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click E-mail Options.
  2. Click Advanced E-mail Options, and then click to select the Save Forwarded Messages check box.

Outlook 97

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Send tab.
  2. Click to select the Save Forwarded Messages check box.
NOTE: There are no rules or views that can hide the message from your Sent Items folder.
