When you use a Dell Inspiron 3500 computer running Windows Millennium Edition (Me), with a NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV video adapter installed, the text on the LCD screen may appear grainy and distorted.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because of an incompatibility of the Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) with the NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV video driver.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, contact the manufacturer of your computer to inquire about the availability of an updated version of the BIOS, or contact the manufacturer of the NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV video adapter about the availability of a fix for this issue.
