This article was previously published under Q261820 If this article does not describe your hardware-related issue, please see the following Microsoft Web site to view more articles about hardware: SYMPTOMS
A scanner with an automated document feeder (ADF), using Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) drivers, only scans the first page of a multiple-page document.
CAUSE
The TWAIN compatibility layer is designed for simple transfers and therefore only permits one page transfers. Kodak Imaging is a TWAIN application and therefore communicates with imaging devices (such as scanners and cameras) through the TWAIN compatibility layer.
MORE INFORMATION
Scanners that have automated document feeders can scan multiple pages using the software that comes with the scanner.
The information in this article applies to any scanner with an automated document feeder, such as the HP 6300C scanner.
