SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to remove DesignCad Pro 2000, the Uninstall wizard may not start.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you install the DesignCad Pro 2000 Update Patch.

The DesignCad Update Patch changes the following registry key and causes the Uninstall wizard to stop responding:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Uninstall/DesignCad Pro 2000 UninstallString


This registry key should include the following string:

c:\windows\IsUnist.exe -f"C:\Program Files\DesignCad Pro 2000\Uninstal.isu"C:\Program Files\DesignCad Pro 2000\dcUninst.dll

However, the string may be incorrectly truncated to:

C:\Program Files\DesignCad Pro 2000\dcuninst.dll
